Is this a decent product? Kinda looks like a cheaper R2 tranny.

Tower hobbies has the blue one for $25. It's not in stock yet though. I am assuming the price is wrong because the silver one is $42.

It looks nice. I have never known any of Integy parts to be poor in quality. (The Eagle brand they sell is kinda shady tho).

The plexiglass is a particularly nice touch.

I have never seen or heard of that before. Is is built for crawlers? I think the R2 looks tougher.

On there page the product is called. "2.5 Ratio Reduction Gear Box for Crawler" so yeah I am guessing it is for crawlers.

I would like to see some more pics of it if anyone has them.

I'd be curious as to the size of the ouput shaft; whether pede yokes would be a direct fit or not. If it's half the price of an R2, it might be worth it to give one a shot. That would fit perfect in my PTI rig. Although I've never been a big fan of anything Integy. Even my Integy "titanium" lower links have bent on me.

From the looks of the Box and the other items they have came out with. My guess its for a Clod axle. Bolt on Gear reduction. A Big one at that... But might be able make something else out of it.

Really my integy parts are grabage. It's a bumper. They sound better in stuff that isn't going to be like a bumper or chassis based on how many people like their motors.

Found out it's similar to a GD600.

Bummer.

Looks like it can be made into an axle some how using parts from a clod. But I can't fully tell because there is only pictures of one side. Also because I don't have one to tell or not

Those holes look to be where you mount it to your motor plate/clocking it on your motor plate!!

Still can't find anything on this.

It does kind of look like a center housing for a clod axle. But isin't 2.5 kind of high for that?

Might be able to use a RC4wd gear reduction bolted to that. Then it might work as a Tranny. The gears in it look better then the R2...
