Status: offline 		I am getting ready to cover my 4*120. I wanted to paint the engine compartment to match the body. So I tried to order the LustreKote Dark Red from Tower. Sorry, No can do! So no problemo. Its off to the local hobby shop. No can do They can't sell spray paint like that some EPA stuff. What can I do. I know move out of the SF bay area. ( I would but still have to earn a living)

Status: offline 		I bought cans of spray paint at both Sheldon's Hobby Store in San Jose and also Wal-Mart in San Leandro.

I do know that there is some law about the age of the purchaser to hopefully make it harder for graffiti artists to get hold of spray paint, so maybe it is something to do with this!

Make of this what you will as I am relatively new to this country and am not up to speed on all of the laws.

Status: offline 		I was told it was the Top Flight stuff they could not sell or ship. I know that some others make spray paint. Maybe TF has CFC's in the can.

Status: offline 		Sheldon's doesn't seel any Top-Flite stuff. The spray paint they have is the stuff that matches Ultracote. Ultrapaint? They also sell a spray paint I think called Perfect Paint. I maybe not quite right on these names but they are close.

Status: offline 		I wonder if this is a new thing with Tower? I have purchased LusterKote from Tower (bought six cans of it last summer) and have never heard of it being on the EPA's no no list.

Status: offline 		Its a California thing. Like the state says that MTBA is required in the gas. Oh yea. And then makes all of the gas stations post a sign that says MTBA casues health problems. Go figure.

With a name like Bingo Flyer do you have a bingo? I found an old Big Bingo kit at a shop last year and got it because I have always liked the looks of it. Let me know I might have some questions when it gets to the building board.
