Status: offline 		This is a laser cut kit I purchased from Hammer50 on RC Universe. I needed a small plane for my PAW .09 diesel. Never saw a laser cut airplane kit, did see a Sig field box kit. I was absolutely amazed at the precision, the etching(labeling) and the way the parts basically just dropped from the sheets. I even let my 7 year old daughter remove all the parts. Would never let her do that on a die cut kit.

I framed up this plane in about 6 hours. That's including my daughter gluing my fingers to the wing ribs. The ribs and spars go together with hardly any room for error. The Fuselage, well I don't know how to say this, just goes together. There is no plan view on the drawing to build it on. You can build it on your lap, however this is not recommended, might glue something else that is not as forgiving as a finger.

I called House of Balsa to complement them on a superb kit. The instructions are also in COLOR and written by someone who's native language is English. Accept for slicing my finger open while trimming a push rod, I truly enjoyed every moment of construction. No guess work.

I was looking forward to my next project, a Sig Smith Miniplane, which is a die cut, printed sheet, and very old style construction kit. Now I'm not sure. Might build the H.O.B. PT-19 first. After the Miniplane is built, I WILL NEVER BUILD ANOTHER DIE CUT KIT AGAIN.
