Hi Poisonporkchop,

I don't know this is what you looking for - this is my 4wd half-track or 6wd.
The tracks are from Tamiya 1/25 Tiger I and Pather's road wheels. The whole
secttion could be removed by unscrew the bolt, then replaced by ladder chain for
4wd in the rear. The fwd used half shafts. I hope the images how is crafted.

The last image is an animated gif - composed of 12 frames. They are from my tractor video.
You might have to play it again to see it runs.

I like half-track vehicles. This one is modelled from Citroen and other 4wd half-tracks.
It's mostly crafted with woods. They are easy to work with.

Kegresse

Thinking of getting a couple 1;24 panthers and getting a couple of my 1;18 halftracks running. Do you have a diogram or photos of how you hooked up the HL board? I'll do the chassis and model conversion, but the RC stuff I leave to my hobby store electro-man.

Thank you Ian. I like that cartoon too, but I like Wile E. Coyote better. It inspired me to craft this model.
I have authorized a DVD about the half-track. I hope it will be published somedays.

Yes, the body is based on the Monogram Paddy Wagon. I used cherry wood strips to make up the body panels.
Here are the images of the fwd. The power is transfered from the center transfer case.
The last one is my other r/c mini 4wd.
Body panels are plastic cards.
Enjoy!

Great work Kegresse you should start a build thread on these i would be interested in some more pics of the other mini 4wd as i am looking for ideas of what suspension and drive to put in my 1/16 LAV those mini 4wd look like a good possibility. I cannot believe the detail you go into in designing them with the CAD i wish i could do it, i'm more trial and error as i go along

Hi guys, I will try to some pictures of three vehicles. So you see the sizes of each of them.
There was an article on buidling a 1/35 scale LAV.
Also there was some photos of a nitro half-track made in Japan. If I could find them, I will post them here.
I sold my Brusier and many parts many(full running chassis HiLux 4x4) years ago.
Now I don't have any spare part, I hardly run it.

Recognised it...

I had a Hi-Lux too, with a spare Blazing Blazer body, as well as a Bruiser. Have a Bruiser gearbox here that needs a new 750 engine cause one of the motor power tabs is busted off.

With that new F-350 kit, the chances we'll see 6x6 and possibly 8x8's from Tamiya are growing... lets hope they make a 6x6 Deuce-&-Half to go with the tanks... they could if they tried (seeing as they make it in 1/35 and 1/48)

Can't wait for my Kyosho JGSDF to get here...
