Just wondering, what was/is your first vehicle? I'm just wondering as I'll be in 16 Feb, and my mom got a vehicle back in April that will be mine.

'94 Chevy Silverado 1500, Ext cab short bed, 4X4, 6.5L turbo diesel

Now post your first vehicle.

Mine was a '85 nissian 300zx. It had a spun bearing in the engine almost the whole time I had it.

And yes it had a oxiodized hood. Also had 5spd and t-tops. Only paid $400 for the beast.

'98 Chevy Lumina sedan with the 3.4L V6. When insurance is 6 grand a year for a 2 seater and gas is over $1 a liter you tend to go for something cheap (er) on gas and insurance..........that and I got a deal on it.

Yes, its absolutely dull to drive..........but I did just add an air horn

My first car was a hand me down from my mom, then brother. A 1980 Mazda GLC hatchback. In college I got a 1980 Datsun (that's right, Datsun) Stanza hatchback for like $200. The driver seat was rusted almost all the way through the chassis by the time I got rid of it upon graduation. We called it the Brown Turd. It was brown. And rusty. But it worked (I had very little $$ in college).

My first car I got on my own was a 1996 Chevy Cavalier, stick. Nothing fancy, but I never had one problem with it. I liked it.

No i sold it for $100 like a year ago. Then someone put a "new" engine in it and wanted 600 for it. I decided to take a test drive in my old car. It still was pretty rough ride. I have no idea where it is now as i have not seen it for months.

My first was a M37 (military version of the Power Wagon, I can't remember the year, those darn military vehicles always mess me up) for 200 bucks. Horrible paint, seats were crap, oversized steering wheel from a KW and a steering system rigged up from all kinds of things, but hey it worked.

I am now in the process of restoring it, still the the tearing apart process...
