does that boat look like it was ran in salt water? I don't want to bid on it if it has.

The smoke stack looks rusty, too rusty.

does it look good enough to bid on?

Status: offline 		I still like the first one best, exhaust goes rusty from the heat. If it was salt you would see more corrosion in my opinion.

Status: offline 		i run my boat in salt and its not rusty a wash down with freshwater and a spray with wd40 works a treat .i still say get the very first boat you linked b4!!.if you havent missed it allready?.

Status: offline 		how about making a woody like mine?,goes pretty well with a 28 cc weedy engine.if a scratch build is too daunting how about the zipkits easy vee? its a nice boat very similar to this one in its orriginal form!! i altered mine from the plans to suite me.the easy vee has all the parts lazer cut for you to glue together.

idk, that many end up costing too much because i would have to buy everything separate. and if i was going to buy everything separate, i would buy a DaVette hull.

Status: offline 		wrong!! my boat cost me £150 where as a cheap and i mean cheap crap rtr gas boat on ebay here would have cost me twice that!!.all you need to buy is the flex a ss shaft a ferrule to join the two a strut a prop and a prop dog and a rudder.then you need radio gear which isnt expensive if you get a basic 2 channel setup.a high torque servo for rudder and normal one for throttle and your not far off.work it out for yourself there is no cheaper way to get into gas boats than a woody .there are lots of guys on here building them or have allready done so and these boats run well and can take a modded zenoah when you feel like more speed.heres a link to mine running.also can i add that jo at zipkits came up with the easy vee kit specifically to help newcomers get into gas boats the cheapest way possible.

ahh thats a secret ,naa a guy off rcu did them for me as a return favour for free ,if you want some he can cut any design or colour for you.he told me that set would be $30-$40 if hed charged me and thats very cheap ,i know guys have paid $30 for one decal hehe from decals outlets.if your interested ill get you his email hes a nice guy .i will deff be dealing with him again ,these decals were done to please my son whos a fan of the film so i had them done as a surprise.theyre not to everyones taste but the quality is second to non and he will try to match almost any design you can come up with.he even told me the best way to put them on and it was so easy considering it was the first time id done any .
