I need a Cox Texaco-in the $20 range + shipping, if you feel that’s a fair price. Condition isn't really a big issue as long as there isn't excessive wear. I mean, I'm more than happy to tear into an engine and clean it, and get a gasket set for it. Looks aren't that important. Just as long as it isn't on its last leg.

I posted this in here because I'm really not sure how much coverage my post in the classifieds section has gotten and so I'd thought I'd contact directly the guys who might actually have a Texaco laying around.

Also, on a sour note, I got burned when I posted in the main classifieds a couple of weeks ago, someone contacted me and told me that they had two Texaco's both had only been run "once or twice." Price was right, so I bought one. It arrived on Monday and to my disappointment I discovered he sent me a Babe Bee in really rough shape. To top it off, someone had colored the tank red with a marker to make it look like a Texaco. It was missing the spinner too. When I complained to the seller via email, he told me "no refunds-sorry." I've sent several other messages, but it seems he's ignoring me. I know I know, give him the benefit fo the doubt, maybe he didn’t know better… It's not that I can't find a use for a Babe Bee, I just don’t really want to put my limited modeling budget into one now, and I didn't want to pay $25 for one in this condition. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent-I apologize.
