yeah my swash is about worn out too...i need to get another. that'll keep the grips going for awhile... here is what i did for the meantime.. its a tail servo ball with a nut and a long screw...too long in this case , but it works.

oh btw here is a fix i did for the rollers on the belt it consists of 2 mainshaft bearings from my fp and a servo mount brass piece, and a longer screw..it works well

LOL....nice fix on the belt problem. I haven't seen that one. You guys will note from his pic that the belt does NOT run in a perfect straight line from the pulley, through the guide rollers, and into the boom tube....and this IS the problem with dropping belt off the guide rollers. Two choices....wider rollers as shown here or raising the main pulley as I did. Either will work. Belt tension is CRITICAL gentlemen...too tight or loose will cause major headaches.

What's wrong with my Esky brushless ESC (EK1-0350)?

All the sudden my ESC has stopped working! Normally when I power in on, I will hear 3 beeps (means no brake): B B B
Now when I power it on, I hear: BBB BBB BBB BBB (4 times, 3 quick beeps), and the motor is not turning anymore.
I disconnected the motor wires: same sequence of beeps.

The manual does not mention about this beep code at all. Does anyone run into problem? How do I get out of this mode? or is the ESC is dead? (my bad luck - only got this set from Rusty for about a month).

Sounds likes you have break enabled (shouldn't be). Like someone said earlier, place throttle stick at highest point with Tx on, then plug in the battery (sounds crazy, but thats the programming mode). Once Heli is on, bring stick to lowest point and see if the sound beeps come back to Bi Bi Bi. I am unsure though how to switch the brake on/off function though. You don't want that on because you will most likely strip your main gear if you engage it. Also, when I disconnect the motor wires only, I get no beeps at all. It seems to detect if the motor is connected or not.

I notice the frame flex from day one. With a 3900Kv motor, I come up slow on throttle. You came actually flex the motor/pinion away from the main gear (not good). Maybe the carbon frame kit has an aluminum motor mount. This is not abnormal for a lot of plastic frame helis though. This is one reason I don't go cutting away to mount bigger motors. I remove as little material as possible to keep the motor frame area as strong as possible. It not very strong to begin with. The motor screw area can get worn out after a few crashes, and you'll need bigger washers to make it mount the motor securely. CNC top frame would be a good mod.

I fix my belt by just putting a washer between heli body and the flange bearing cover. now that has made the bearing sit alitte lower so it lines up with the pulley.

There are many belt/bearing mod fixes. I find as long as it works, your fine. I found some Helimax MX400/450 bearings (flanged & regular) that are available from most LHS and washers that work perfectly over my original posted mod. Just install the longer bolts & cut them shorter as needed with the extra bearings. The washers are 2x3.2x.2mm washers. Perfect for correctly spacing the bearings apart when you stack them together as a roller.
