Yes, but who sells a 4-blade tail set with the blades at the right angle?

Are you referring to a cascading tail rotor setup? If so,you can make your own.I read about it on a scale forum, but I don't think it was here.Try www.scaleRChelis.com

Ha, I'm just being a wiseacre. In fact, I think it's the Apache I had in mind- four blades, but the angle is something like 60 degrees between the pairs instead of 90. Never heard the scoop on why, but the only scale ones I've seen were hand made by the modeler.

I saw this and thought it was cool and since you and chief are into scale flyers I thought I would post it up so you guys could check it out. I will eventually get one of those multi-blade heads on something and see what it is like, lol.

It is COOL but when do you think they'll come out with the proper tail rotor system (also 4 blades)? They also got the fittings to make the tail rotor sit up where it's supposed to be. When I do my next Huey...it'll be done proper with the tail rotor where it should be.

Elevated tail rotor stuff can be bought at hightorque.com.For a 450,around 60.bux plus shipping.Eventually,I will be there.....sigh.Meanwhile,check this out.

Chief...thanks for the link.....I bookmarked. I don't believe ANYONE has developed a 4 blade tail system as yet. It wouldn't be that hard I don't think. Two blades operate normally on a slider, the other two linked to the others to turn for pitch. If I can think of how to do it, an engineer can design it and build it.

Mornin' Chief....when it gets here.....I'll fire a pic up here. I know it's an HBKII with one of those good fuselages by E-Sky, but it's not an AirWolf type.

Hi Guys,
Got a question. Looking at page 19 of the HBK2 instruction manual, how is the tail suppost to spin in the proper direction if the belt is twisted in the direction as shown? Shouldn't it be the other way? Looking at the heli from the right side, should the tail rotor spin cw or ccw.

Confused

Jim

I believe it's CCW looking from right side of the heli. I know it's confusing.

So then looking at the drawing on page 19. How can that be right?
