well guys i just received my new batteries. Outrage Xp 25C. These things are awesome!!! I bought 2 of the 1800Mah from helidirect. i was using my stock motor and esc until it just burned up. i guess you could say i was pushing the motor to its limit and i knew it was going to blow! The motor was basically on fire probably about 150-175 degrees(guessing but it burned me!) , but the battery a COOL 75-80 degrees (guessing) cool to the touch something the stock battery could never do! i have a 3900Kv brushless lying around but i am waiting for my 3800Kv motor to arrive, then i will install the brushless esc DYNAM 30A! So, the moral of the story, if you are looking for new batteries i highly recommend the Outrage Xp's plus with a 50% refund crash replacement program you cant go wrong. Just be prepared to replace your stock motor, they are junk in the first place!

Well...the Horizontal stabs aren't done yet, decals comming Monday, but I had to maiden it. It flew fairly well compared to ANY scaler I've built to date. I do need to adjust the throttle and pitch curves a bit more...maybe put woodies on it because it's fighting the xtreme plastic blades weight factor. Other than some fine tuning...it's an awsome scaler. Gotta find some mini gun/rocket pods for it (LOL).

I found decals and weapons in a 1:32 Apache model kit. Mounted the chain gun already....deciding on the rest. Man...this thread has come to a complete STOP.

It has. I also thought there was a HBFP thread here, but I can't find it anymore.

Hi everyone,

Well, I just purchased an FMA Cellpro 4S lipo charger. I hope it wasn't a mistake. I have been using the charger that came with my HBK2 but I don't know how good (or even if) it balances the cells.

Any thoughts?

Jim

..Sadly, there is a new thread started for pretty much every question that has already been answered in this tuner thread. I do however, know how it feels to post here and not get my questions answered due to how fast they can get buried in the piles of info(no ones fault, granted). I guess with every new pilot, comes many or all of the same problems and patience gets tested, Over and over. Wish some of you vets would leave this Tuner thread once and a while though and offer your expertise (I really got far in this hobby with your help). It's like this thread is bookmarked and you do not know how to return to the main Esky page . Ah well....I guess old farts get set in there ways and the cement hath set-in....Anyone need some Ben-Gay? I hear it smells nice these days!

After you showed us that Cellpro page, that was the charger I was going to buy. I went ahead though and got the TP-610C when I saw it for $116.00. Now i just have to figure out how to tap this things true potential. The manual is suckier than the Esky manual's for trying to figure out what the heck to do when charging ALL the types of batteries....I figured with all the rave reviews, the company had at least figured out how to hire a capable translator....NOT!

Comming from you Chief.....I'm deeply honored by your praise, and highly PROUD I hit it right.
I flew 5 batteries last night at 11 minuets per....I got some GOOD flying time. I took it out tonight....problems. Tail wags like a fish and I didn't touch a thing so maybe the gyro is loose or something else is wrong so now I don't fly...I work on it (about like an E-2 Hawkeye...always broke). I might install an access panel for the gyro because I gotta pull the frame out of the fuse to do any work on it. Maybe I could engineer the fuse where it will seperate and I can access the mechanics. PITA.

"Z" If they need to start a new thread, it's OK I guess. Most people have jobs or they get busy and whatnot. Most guys TRY to get an answer out when they can.
