I have an HDX 4200kv with a brass 9T pinion that works well. I have an 11T and a steel 9T, but they are too long for the motor - if I mount them with the grub screw towards the motor, the tapered part of the teeth meet the main gear. If I flip the pinion around and mesh the gears properly, the motor shaft is too short to catch the grub screw. I did a quick search on the thread here for information on motor spacers (to use longer pinions), but I have yet to see where (if) they can be purchased. I checked a few websites and search engines, including Castle Rock Hobbies website, but it didn't jump up & bite me. I don't have the material or tools to make one - can someone give me a swift kick in the right direction to someone that makes/sells these?
