Just a wild guess as the cnc head does the same thing if the little slilver phillips head screws on the side of the head that go into the flybar holder are loose or stripped. Also you may be missing the O rings that go in the head or they are damaged or not the correct ones you dont have the correct number of shims in it to take up the slack or the thrust washers are incorrectly installed. Grab the blade holders and try to rotate them in opposite directions and watch the linkage for play. Also can you bend them up and down or pull them in and out. If you had the head apart you didnt make the mistake of putting back in the old bent feathering shaft did you? A bent feathering shaft can rotate around and do the same thing. Also mark your blade holders and switch the blades and see if it is the same blade holder that is changing or is it the blade. Have you looked at your flybar paddels to see if they are in plane with each other?

you mean you want a cnc typ tail thats already assembled??
You will just have to take it apart again to put on the belt..
Save yourself some money and just do the mod on your stock tail so the slider moves freely as you will have the same problem with the cnc tail as it does not include the slider and you will have to use the old slider off your stock tail.

Hi guys,
Finally found my problem. The small screws on the bell control arm and the rotor control arm were loose. My fault. I thought that if they were slightly loose the head would operate smother. Got the blades to track ok now.

Flying my HBK2 for the first time today. I am realy happy with it, flys real smooth. This is my upgrade from a Lama V4. There is alot of difference but the Lama did help alot getting ready for the next step. One question that little prong broke in the middle on my deans plug not the thick part but the thin part, can I break it off the rest of the way? becus my battery will not connect all the way.

Actually thats a spring that helps make contact. I had one break a few years ago on a plane and didnt think much of it till the motor quit a few times (bad connection), least planes continue to glide after losing power. It would be a good idea to replace it as losing all power in a heli is NOT good at all, least for the heli...no power = no control.

HDX 300 cnc tail assy., installs easy and to this date I have not tested better except the microheli which is essentially the same thing but does not come in a complete assy like the hdx. With all due respect, I strongly disagree with Flier on the microheli, everything they make is nice and well worth the money. I have installed and sold over 300 tail assy upgrades and have never heard anyone say that is was not worth it and all I use is hdx or m/h. What ever you do, don't fall for the esky stuff or the copterx stuff, it is cheaper but in the case of the esky stuff it is just stock replacement parts in metal and offers -0- performance enhancements and the copterx stuff is just simply poorly built using really cheap soft metal.

Hey Rusty:

Is the HDX300 CNC tail ass'y a direct bolt-on mod (does the HBK2 boom need to be modded at all)? Not that I am going to replace my tail, but it'd be good to know...

Cool, thanks for the tips. I'll invest on some Microheli stuff.
