yea there's nothing bent or damaged. it's been like this since looong ago, i just always thought it was normal since i never got to really play with it outside and move it in all direction with some vigorous inputs. i didn't have time to really look into it tonight as i was rebuilding my Evo50, which is rather time consuming, to say the least lol. 4hrs so far, another 1-2hrs tomorrow. phew! also, my blades were out of track the other day, but today they tracked a lil better. go figure.
anyway, other suggestions are welcomed...

there's a joystick emulator for G3 sim, that should work with G4. it allows you to use a dual analog stick PC controller of your choosing. i'm guessing the same emulator will allow you to use any Tx, provided windows recognizes it as a joystick.

I put this canopy on for a scale look. It came from cnchelicopter.com for $8. It weighs 40g more than the stock canopy so it definitely solves the tail heavy problem. I lost some aerobatic capabilty, but it looks cool for scale like flight in the limited room of my back yard

Thanks for posting the picture of your canopy! I'd seen it months ago on "some web site" that I'd lost track of, then never could find it again. It must be thicker and stronger material to weigh 40g more than the stock canopy? You would recommend it?

Cheers,
Dave

It is well made if you don't mind the weight. It helps with balance using 1300 battery, but I can tell the extra weight while flying. But I'm satisfied with it for a sorta-scale look. I did a trial mount on a Venom NR3DXL and it looks good there and may also work on something like a Black Hawk 450. I tried it today with an E-flite 3S1800 and with the combined weight of the canopy and battery, the gyro gain was not high enough to keep up. I didn't have any trouble flying it (it is a little breezy here today) because I'm used to chasing the tail around from when I flew motor tail helis (lol). It works fine though with the two fresh Zippy 3s1300 20C batteries I have though. They have it available in combo with a light kit and I wish I had gotten that. When I fly near dusk, I can see the LED's on my gyro, rx, and UBEC, so I think more lights would be cool. I have a Lama V4 set up for night flying but don't know if I'll ever get the nerve up to try that with a CP heli. Twenty years ago when I was in my 30's I was the first around here to fly r/c airplanes at night. Back then I could read the serial number on a gnat's a** in the dark, but in my 50's the night vision isn't that great anymore. Sorry for the ramble, but yes, it is a well made canopy, just a little porky. It could be lightened up some though by cutting the side "doors" out of it. I may try that later.

Thanks again! I may try to get the one with the lights, although I'm not sure how the power feed for that would work - with no obvious place to plug into (all the slots on the receiver are already populated).

Cheers,
Dave

probably couold use it's own battery attached to the inside of the canopy, add a lil more weight but hey, or you could get a Y adapter for your receiver, and wire it into your gain adjuwst channel. just a thought.

Thanks! I wasn't sure anyone made Y adapters!

My HBK2 is perfectly balanced with the 1500mah betteries I have now, so I'll probably have to get a small anvil or something to hang from the tail - to keep it that way if I get this canopy. Of course the weight distribution will probably be different when I finally put on the CF frame and CNC head and tail parts too.. Sounds like a Winter project!

Cheers,
Dave

You can plug it in to anywhere with a Y adaptor, I had lights on my king and plugged it into the main from the bec to the spectrum 6100 rec (I have a built in switching bec that puts out 5.5V and handles to 3amp) Never had a problem with it there. Did the same on my stock esky rx too. lest till the esc died a hot and sinful death on a long bench runup.

Hamid, I saw that too. I was wondering about it as I never heard anyone mention a SG91 in any other forum. How do you even order a SG91 ? The listing doesn't show a different order for a 90 or a 91. Maybe they just send you what they have? Possibly a diff connector like a micro connector??? Anyone?
