I need to get a new radio. I am looking for a good value, not cheap but not top of the line $$$.

What do recommend?

What tail rotor blades did you use? I tried the Align 450 blades today. Had a mishap later on and took out my blades, main gear & feather shaft, so I can't give any more feedback on these tail blades. They did have more tail action from what short time of use I had today. They seem perfect for fitment, are longer and better shaped.

I fly those same align tail blades, the part number is hs1208t, I am an align dealer and use those on a lot of helis including the falcons, good blades. If you use them on a stock tail, you will have to file them down at the grip to make them fit loosely.

Here's one to explain for you technical guys. I've been talking about the tail and rudder problems since I got the HBK2 and have seen many others with the same problems. Today I'm out again trying to hover only to have to really fly the tail hard, when I turned the pitch trim knob (RH on the TX) to almost all the way -, and all of sudden the tail starts to calm down and made managing it much easier. About the time I was going for more that a 5 second hover, the battery went. Exactly what does this thing do? You can hardly see any of the servos move when you turn the knob. Dave

Thats a fine blade pitch adjustment. The left knob is more of a coarse pitch adustment. Depending on the servo positions and stick position, it may not do anything at certain throttle/speed settings, more so on full throttle. Just unplug your motor from the ESC and power up the bird. With the blades fully extended, Idle up switch on and throttle stick centered, you should be at 0 Deg or flat level blades. I usually use the knobs to level my blades, as long as I have god + & - pitch with idle up on, and good + pitch with idle up off and throttle stock above halfway up.
