Status: offline 		Can anybody advise a good source for engine stand offs for a G26? I'm new to gas burners and my instalation requires that the motor be spaced out from the firewall.

Status: offline 		Problem solved. My flying buddy, who is a lot more experienced than I am, is going to make up some standoffs and assist with this mounting issue.

Status: offline 		Buy a length of hardwood dowel stock, maybe 3/4" to 1" in diameter.

Cut 4 pieces to the required length. Be exact here!

Drill through each one using a drill bit one size larger than the diameter of the mounting bolt.

Bolt them in place to the G-26 mounting plate to the firewall.

Use a fender washer between backplate and dowel to prevent crushing.

Fuel proof them with epoxy or whatever.

Status: offline 		Thanks Dick, sometimes I am guilty of overthinking simple things. I only need short extensions and I discussed the same technique with my flying buddy. I'll get it done.
