I think it was called a Crocodile, I use them in Company of Heroes PC game, lotsa fun ~~~ Wooooossshhh!!

i may be wrong but wasnt the churchill tank flamethrower conversion called the crocodile?

Yes it was.

I wouldn't like to be near one of those if it got hit. They said the normal Sherman lit up easily, what about one full of flamethrower fuel. At least the Crocodile towed it's fuel on a trailer.

The "Crocodile" (proper) was a specially fitted out Churchill Tank that towed an armoured trailer carrying the flame fluid and propellant. Crocodiles were the mainstay of the 79th Armoured Division's Ist Assault Brigade. Other modified Churchills in this brigade were known as the "Funnies" --- and included the Flail, Bridging and Petard Tanks. (It would be fun to have an R/C Churchill to "modify!"

Sherman Tanks were also fitted with flamethrowers, and may have had a "special" designation --but I'm not aware of one. If a BREN (Universal) Carrier was fitted out as a flamethrower, it was called a "Wasp".
