Status: offline 		Hi guys. I own a Nexus 30 and my stock stock starter cone is shot. I have the an aluminum starter cone upgrade, but it doesn't fit properly. For the guys that have experienced this problem, how did you make the starter cone fit properly?

Status: offline 		I am sorry I cannot answer your question (about fitting the aluminum cone) but I had the same problem (with plastic cones) and my solution was to replace it with a hex starter fitting.
Never had a problem since.

Status: offline 		I figured it out after I modified my aluminum cone. I just noticed that the part that the cone attachs to has a lot of play in it. Now I have to replace that part. I was suppose to remove that part replace it with the aluminum cone.

Status: offline 		I think you have it right. I have a Nexus 30 ss with the 46 conversion and the starter cone was replaced with the aluminum one. Looks like you just unbolted the plastic one and bolted on the aluminum cone. Thinking about swithing to a hex starter though. Century sells the hex adapter and the wand in a kit. The wand has a one way bearing in it so it should make starting easier.

Status: offline 		You are correct, I am waiting for Tower Hobbies to get it in stock. How well can you fly. Also, do you know if any clutches from other helicopters will fit the Nexus?

Status: offline 		Sorry to jack your thread here but I have a NEXUS 46 in mint condition but am not able to fly it due to the main gear having a chipped tooth!!

Does anyone know where I can order a main gear from?
