The 8ight T, is like the Kit buggy, it has silicone in the the diffs. Unless you found an RTR already, then yes it will probably come with grease like the RTR buggy.

If you are worried about taking diffs apart I'd have to say you are in the wrong hobby as its a part of regular maintenance on a truggy or buggy, or anything with diffs for that matter.

I personally own the 8ight B and 8ight T, both are great cars, I truly love them. What I dont love is lack of parts support and all the BS that goes along with it like constantly trolling ebay to try and grab parts I need because I cant get them anywhere else, at least the stuff I end up needing anyhow.

I do have to say when I got my roller it was in perfect order minus loctite in a few area's like the grub screws all over the truck but other than that I took it to the track and ran a gallon through it in one day with no breakages other than the steering servo insert stripping on me. Grab yourself an aluminum horn and you'll never have that problem, and dont bother with the losi servo horns because they are on back order, dynamite has some that work just fine.

The back orders are annoying to say the least, but when you have the hot car/truck that is what happens. OK, maybe there is more to it. I have heard that the 'replenishment mgr.' at Losi or Horizon I can't remember, has been fired. Who knows if this is true, but at this point, I would not doubt it. Several of my back orders have since showed on my doorstep too.

The 8ight T race roller is exactly like the buggy kit with the better materials, the RTR truggy is just like the RTR buggy, same materials. A few differences between the 2 RTR's is that the T RTR comes with a JR 650 for steering and it has 4 shoes on the clutch rather than 2 shoes like the RTR buggy does.
