I have a G23 heli version that I would like to install it into a 1/4 scale. Is this engine different then then airplane version? I don't have the front piece where the prop mounts. Can I get this separate from Horizon?

Does this engine have a cooling shroud around cylinder? If it does it may take more converting than just the prop drive. You should be able to get what you need from Horizon .

Here's a copy of an email I recieved from Zenoah in Japan:


Thank you for your mail.
Consequently you can clear this subject from
the owener's manual.
However for your advice for minimum modificaion,

1)You have to buy propeller hub and bolt x 1 set
,air-funnel(p/n:848ES08300 and muffler(p/n:T2075-
15110)

2)You have to take out air-cleaner,pull -starter.

3)You can use the carburetor for G230PUH as it is.
