Hi, The CG is the same whether it's kit built or the ARF. For grass ops, I don't think you need to change anything except, perhaps, using bigger wheels on the landing gear. Depending on how far back you bend the nose wire, you can get up to a 2.25" wheel in there, and I used a small Testors paint cap with some sticky-back sandpaper to enlarge the wells for the mains. Even on fan power, the airplane will get up quickly on grass. There are some subtle differences on the JMP vs. the Yellow version, I found out at Florida Jets. For one thing, the tail area on the Yellow is slightly larger (horizontals), and the wings on the Yellow version are swept. On the JMP version, the leading edge is swept, but on the Yellow version, the leading and trailing edges are swept. Also, the Yellow version has a much more pronounced undercamber at the trailing edge of the wing. This is supposed to make it more flyable in deadstick situations. The airplane deadsticks very well.
