I have a 969 that i purchased from tower ...... 1.5-2.0 years ago. After about 1 year the buttons started acting up. Meaning you have to push very hard to get a response. Sometimes no response at all, And now just nothing. The thing is I really liked the charger, but went ahead and purchased a accu-cycle eleite last week. The charger is ok. I just started thinking if maybe there was a known problem with the board or buttons. To finish it off I rarely used the charger.... maybe ....30 charges.

Any way just wondering if anyone else had these problems.

Thanks

John.

I had one that did that and tried cleaning them with not real good results. MRC had an exchange program where you would send in the 969 and they would upgrade you to a brand new 977 (with higher charge rate and much nicer soft touch buttons) for a fee of less than $50

Hopefully they still offer the exchange program.

Tim, I assume this offer still stands? Return a 969 that has quit with the $42 for a 977 upgrade? If so, can you please give me a address to send it to? Mine, when you plug it in, it doesn't even appear to have juice to the screen. Just dead. Is there any issues since I have cut n changed the charge wires on the *A* side so I could charge my fancier junk with deans plugs?
Thanks...
Lewis

Tim, Hi

I have the same problem with the buttons, I like the charger but never use it unless i really have to cause the button, Also I bought it to charge Li-po's and after reading some post I'm not sure I should use it any more?

Any help here would be great
