Hello, i have a rotofly which i had it for a while but haven't used it that much. But anyways when its off the ground, it rubble around and then loose control, what would cause this? When the blade is spinning on the ground, its ok, its until i am in the air. Even if I add even more power, nope it just roubble and loose control. What should i do??

The blades have to be set just right or it will wobble and get worse and worse. First is make sure the blades are tight then pull them out straight. Now advance both blades about 1/2" and try it. Also make sure to balance the blades and tail rotor.

Mine does it too. I think it's because it's so light and the counter action of the rotors.

Balance the blades and fly bar paddles. I had to add quite a bit of tape to one paddle to make it weigh as much as the other now it's much more stable. For the blades you need to balance them against each other but the paddles can be weighed and add tape to the lighter one.

jcervantes11 Have you balanced the blades at all? Try what I suggested earlier first (advancing the blades) to see if it hovers then try balancing the blades and paddles. If you still need pictures let me know and I'll take some.

Here is my home made balancer and the scale I use to make sure both blades weigh the same. Just bolt the 2 blades together and add tape to the lighter one till they set level. I use a straight edge in a small vise to find the CG of the blades.

how about my problem, when i'm hovering, my rotofly leans to an angle to the right, if your looking at it from behind. it's did this since i got it. i can somewhat hover it, i'm just not good enough, but the copter looks dump leaning like that, how can i get it to fly straight up and down?

Nice job thanks for the detail it aint that bad . I got my heli to fly sometime it will wiggle and when it does i move the blade straighter, also i find a way so it wont wiggle that much which is way off then straight. I'm talking about the blades. I'll post some pics soon I need to install my cam

I have my blades fairly tight. I tried them loose and it was all over the place but tight works great. I pull on each blade to get them parallel then advance each blade about 1/2" then she flies nice and steady.

Guys,
The heli leans to the right because it is trying to resist the force of the tail rotor, which is pushing to the left.
That is the way all helicopters fly. Its just that the bigger ones are not so obvious.

I thought I answered that.

Here's a picture that shows what I was talking about. Once you get them straight advance each blade about 1/2" forward so they end up looking more like the second picture. On mine if I leave them straight as in the first picture it woblles and gets worse and worse but if I advance them a little it's nice and stable
