440GTX -> Hitec Rx Repair Estimates (7/4/2007 1:46:17 PM)

Can I get a Reciever repar estimate before any work is done ?
Is there a cost for an estimate ?
My Heli was sucked in by gravity . The Rx is not damaged but does not work. Nothing ..
A new crytal has already been changed.

Thanks
Fred..

You do not mention which model receiver. The most common crash damage is a broken filter and if dual conversion it could also be the second crystal which is hard wired on the board. Match your receiver model number on Hitec USA Flat Rate Repair Fees. If rate is acceptable, complete Hitec Repair Request PDF. This as no separate service/support center is listed as yet for Canada Hitec International Distributor/Service centers, Canadian residents appear to be still covered for service under a 2003 post Hitec USA only services North/South America and Canada.

440GTX -> RE: Hitec Rx Repair Estimates (7/5/2007 4:36:28 AM)

Thanks for the good info A.T.

Its a Supreme Rx. After me spending $ 6.50 to send it to Hitec
$ 21.00 Flat rate repair and $ 5.00 USPS return shipping = $ 30.00 CDN.
.The idiots at Canada Post could charge me 6 % GST .So for a total of almost $ 40.00 That is the minium.
I think I will but a new one for $ 50.00 CDN at the LHS
Its 4 years old so I can't complain .

Fred..

Hello Fred,

We will check any Hitec product out for no charge. If there is a charge Tech will call you and let you know what the amount is before the repair is done.
