I was hoping someone could tell me where the BVM 2x2 edge 540 is suppose to balance out at? Having a hard time finding the right balance.

Thanks

CG is supposed to be at the center of the wing tube at the tip of the wing. I just flew my 2X2 this past Sun. It would pitch up slightly when I reduced the throttle so I am going to move the CG to the front of the wing tube and try it there. Using DA 50 with Pitts muf.

HiDesertFun

If she is Pitching up on Throttle reduction it doesn't mean your CG is in the wrong location.

Sounds to me like your motor has to much down Thrust in her hence when you power back the thrust is reduced and the Model pitches up.

Typically 1/2 a degree down is all thats needed I would use washers and shim the bottom Motor supports out a bit.

One Last item I have seen certain Props also cause the effect your complaining about. Before you Shim the motor perhaps try a different Prop Brand.

Best Of Luck
Ian

I agree. CG is not the issue but engine down thrust is. Too much down thrust.
