OK I noticed when I drive my car and then go back down to idle I have to hit the brake quick then it will go down to idle. The throttle arm hits the shock/body mount on the back and has caused my arm nut to fly off and disappear. Any suggestions on how to fix this.

You mean the linkage rod end hits the shock body mount? If that's what you mean just cut the extra uneeded part of the rod off with a pair of Dykes.
