Hi.
Anyone tried to install this digital cam in a plane and made some movies with it? It has 110 second video recording possibilityat 15 fps. What do you think?
Do you recomend any other cheap digital cam to do this?
I would like to try!
Thanks.

On a slow, stable electric model, the AVI video is quite decent. Just keep in mind that it will not be TV quality. But, good enough to have a blast.

The GSmart's 15 FPS is better than the Aiptek's 10 FPS (less jerky images). But both record AVI's at the same low resolution.

I got over 6min video with my Mustek GSmart3. But, as mentioned by RC-Cam, the resolution isn't so great.

Hi.
Forus, what do you do to record 6 min of video? What resolution?
Are you pressing the button with a servo?

Thanks.

I have to admit that I haven't installed this cam in any plane yet. My old Olympus compact cam was actuated by a servo but for the Mustek I use a rc switch. With this switch you can control the cam directly from the rx. I used the default resolution on the Mustek for videocapturing. I don't know if you can change the resolution in any way shooting video. With the memory cleared I got the 6min.
