I am running dual packs and switches in one of my planes. One of the packs went bad bc I accidentally left it on for a week and now it wont hold a charge. So I bought a new pack to replace the bad one.

The only thing is that the new pack is a 6v nimh pack made from AA batteries. (Its the hydrimax 1450 pack) The old pack is a 6v nimh pack made from 2/3 A batteries. (Its a nobs pack 1100mah).

Since both packs are 6V it doesnt make a difference that the cells are not identical does it?

Only in charging must do seperate.
On discharge run mode the better battery will do all the work untill it discharges down then they begin to share so OK in my book. Just that one baattery will begin to wear down faster because it's doing all the work but no biggey if you capacity test once a year you will see which one it is. If batterys are matched they will go down togeather then replace both.

Actually they will share the work based on the level of charge and capacity of each pack. The will both be discharge the same percentage when operated in parallel.
