Status: offline 		I'm considering one of these servos for the rudder on a gas race boat. Is it waterproof enough to run it out in the open or do I need to mount inside the radio box as I have been doing my 5645's. Sure would be nice to run it outside for mounting reasons in a new boat. Thanks Ed

The servo is not going to be water proof. I would suggest mounting it inside of your radio box.
