Since the wife and kid seem to have over taken the TV tonight and my batts are charging for flight tomorrow. I find myself in front of the time killer tonight (rare).
So I thought I would share a weird thing that happened to me over the weekend.

I have one of the first batches of yaks so I have many flights on this bird.
I recently changed over to the spectrum module for my jr9803. With some of the reports of accidents I was very nervous about the switch. I can say that so far it works great, I am running it with 3 receivers though. Anyways last weekend turned on radio then the plane and one aileron would not work. Hmm, did the standard checking of plugs and such. All looked good. Now all of my electronics where salvaged form my AW yak that nosed in. So I suspected that maybe my smart-fly bus finally gave up. I moved things around to check the other side of the bus but same thing. During all this moving around and testing different trouble shooting procedures I noticed that every time I move the ailerons to the full left in high rates the throttle servo would move to idle (off). This would only happen in high rates. Hmmm this is odd. I triple check the radio for mixing (running no mixes)and any thing else but all seems OK.
I was lucky that my father was there with his radio. We are running the same setup and plane (his Yak88 still in shop waiting to fly). So we bond his radio to my rec and everything worked just fine. Hmmmmmm Now I'm guessing there is something wrong with my transmitter..Crap!..Dear old dad suggested that I make up a new program in the radio and delete the old.
So that is what i did. And all has been working just fine now.
We figure some how that the program for the model became corrupt somehow. Who knows how or why but it happened.

Any thoughts on why or how this could happen?

G'day Mate,
Have you had a mobile phone turned on & close to your TX recently, over here we don't allow mobile phones into our pits, at the flying field because mobile phones CAN corrupt computer TX's, just a thought.
When I posted this on here a while ago, I was howled down, as usual, but it can be a problem.
Check this out, It's not here just for fun.

Cell phones etc have no effect on systems programming or operation. It sounds like there may have been some programming in that model that was cleared by reseting.
