Status: offline 		Some of you may remember me fron the xxx-nt engine upgrade post. Well I didn't take your advice then and it seems I'm paying the consequences. On my last tank of break-in on the .18 (that you guys told me not to get!) I think I blew my rear diff. The motor and the gear it's connected to still spin but the tires don't. Help me out again, please. I'd like a better diff if one's available. Any other reason this may be happening? Thanks, once again, for your replies.

Status: offline 		My diff is about 3 years old, and my engine has more hp than the .18... Most likely your diff was too loose and your slipper too tight. As long as the slipper slips before the diff, you can't toast the diff.

You'll just have to get a new ball diff and make sure that the slipper slips first. The new RC Driver has a good article on ball diffs.
