Looks nice but also pretty heavy. I've seen a few 1/5 scale cars run and they aren't very fast compared to the other cars out there. Also most of the tracks are 1:10 scale.

Not bad,, I think the Rear Wheels and Wheel well opening are in the wrong place,, Would look much better if you moved the Rear wheels and wheel wells were they should be and put the gas tank in back of the Rear wheels..You wont get weight transfer with the Rears were they are...... John...

Gosh.. give him a break.. it's a prototype. The body looks like a nascar with some Mods.

Come on down to the strip and try it out! There should be a 1/4 scale car to race against on July 22nd.

FG PERFORMANCE RC,
Did you guys try this car, seen like it should hook pretty good with transbrake and rear tires. I would like to try your car against my modified 1/5 scale in 132' or more.

Warren528

you couldnt use a transbrake with these cars you could use a linelock with the front brakes because the way the clutch is built when the rpm's come up the car will move you would have to completely redesign the drivetrain and make it like a miniture transmission

Can you give me the schedule and hours for MN RC Dragway.

I wanted to compare run times to see if it's competitive, has anyone timed thier car at 132 feet or longer?

To warren528, I notice you have done alot of horsepower upgrades like the reed cage and jet pro, other modification? Did you notice a big difference?

Here's a link to the schedule published on the IMDRA website. MN Dragway is Div 5-Westcentral in IMDRA.

FG Performance, man that looks fine to me. I am converting a 4-tec to a drag car right now. What I wonder with yours, is can you use the hood scoop to function as to send fresh dense air to the carb? It shouldn't be hard to make that work. How much for a chassis like that minus the engine?
