Hey guys. I'm off to Europe in a couple of weeks, so won't be online very much for the next little while. Before I go I was thinking off asking about some info on the British Cruiser tank.

Cruiser Comet

I was thinking the bulldog might be a good chassis to base this on.????

Does anyone have any links that would allow me to compare the footprint of a bulldog to that of a Comet??? At first glance it seems like this might be doable??

Try here.

I've been thinking of doing a Cromwell.

The Walker Bulldog would be a good chassis, but you might want to check the possibility of using the sprocket, idler and tracks from a Pz III. Use those and add a 4th return roller and the suspension should be OK. The Cromwell Cruiser is a boxy thing, so some sheet styrene and the turret base and ring should get you the turret, but still, a big job and lots of scratch building. Doing the Mk IV? I've done a number of these in 1;35 but never had to do one from scratch.
