Hey only too glad to help mate glad its working for yaa ,45mph is a good speed for a 6 ft mono ,a few tweaks a bit more tuning change the angle of prop etc might eek out a few more mph and get you near that magic 50 .Where did you get that motor any links?,id be interested in one myself for a big cat i might build in the future,i have plans for a 50" cat i can scale to 65" which should be big enough for it.

Well....for me is just good enough that speed..... after all is my first build....For sure i will make some test tomorrow all day long and after that I will make the hull polyester.

The funny thing is that you cant see the speed in that hull because is big is not jumping and and and. Im happy about beileve

Here is the link for the motor XINGYUE USA that is in USA if you want closer let me know I will send you the link of my local dealer.

Just to know the motor needs a few mods but is strong enough. Tomorrow I will send more details about RPMS with the 470 and the 482 and and and...

Sorry Steve that im using your area here but Mr Mart reply on my post

Hi all, Took the boat for another run today to try and sort the right hook problem. It went well, but still wants to hook right and alot of torque roll, I did manage to drive through the hook and roll for one run only and got a GPS reading of 75.7KPH (47.03MPH)

I carry two styles (not those ones in the pic though) that will probably do the trick just fine, if not be a little more durable.

I will measure them up this evening and email you mate

Malaga Sunday, just waiting to hear/and decide what time I am kicking off on Sunday. I will let you all know tomorrow arvo/evening when I know what is happening (it is dependant on another member and his rescue boat vs present work committments)

Steve, good work mate, she is getting quicker, coming along very nicely indeed.

Johno
