Have a FMA Direct Fortress receiver on channel 30. It sort of sits there, and only servo movement is when clicked on or off. Am using a Seeker 3, 8 channel transmitter. Usually, have no problems with incompatibility. They all tend to work in one way or another.

But, read someplace where the Fortress series were in a fleet of theirown, and non-compatibility was common with these. This one has the little DIP switch, and should something be changed there?

Will it work eventially or not?

Wm.

I don't know if it will work or not, but you might try switching the PPM shift from positive to negative or vice versa, it sounds like the RX is looking for shift one way, but the Polk is doing the opposite.

As for FMA RXs in general, I have about 4 of them, and they all work. They are the older "Extreme" line though.

I also have several FMA receivers. This is first one to have given troubles. Tried that Neg to Pos shift, same-ol, same-old.

It could be the RX. I stopped buying FMA RXs, even though they work great when new. They seem to have better-than-average signal processing, for example. I found that they are a bit on the fragile side, and sometimes the failure mode is non-obvious. Instead of breaking entirely, I've had them do odd things once or twice.
