This maybe a bit too large an engine for evenyou large scale modllers or open class racers but I am sure that someone from the great aerospace background a lot of us have can give me some info.
I have a flat 4 cylinder 2/stroke drone engine,made by northrop.Serial# 653-PM 58 #93.Itis of approx 2000cc,s displacement &weighs about 65 lbs.
It has a large rear radial engine mount, shieldedvignition leads and looks fabulous!!
What do I do with it-- a coffee table base is seeming like a good idea, until my grand-son realises what it is-he has just realised what a DH mosquito is--he is hooked after I gave him a history of the plane-not bad for 11 years old.
anyway,advice or help required.
Ian,Houston,Tx,USA

Would you need two engines for a Mosquito model? Have a drone engine on the way from a ebay i bid on last week. a pair of engines you describe would gertainly fly a person without too much trouble. have some experience with big twins, look at the rcwarbirds.com site for the 1/4 B-25 and mail back to me with a few more details.
