I pick Brushless because it has no maintenance, Very fast, Good on batteries, No noise, Alot more torque than nitro, More rpm's than nitro, No fuel, You dont have to worry about starting it, Just the flick of a switch.

That is true but I don't like how the batteries start out powerful and fade as you use them. But with Nitro it doesn't matter if you have a full or a trickle left you get all of the engines power. But Brushless is cheaper and there is less maintainence. And to run it all you have to do is charge the battery and switch the car on and go!!!

Its will fade with junk battery's but if you use matched battery's such as IB4200's they kick all the way till the end then drop off suddenly. Theres no fading.

Pick nitro becuase there is no power fade even when tank is empty, then you get a power boost

I don't understand why I have to pick one or the other.
I've got nitro, brushed and brushless electrics and like them all.
Picking one or the other seems simplistic and limiting to me but if all you want to use is one power source that's your choice I guess. To each their own

If I had to choose, I would choose nitro just for the tinkering factor. There are little to no tinkering involved in electric, especially brushless since it is such a high maintenance free system.

To me, building a kit is a way better experience than taking an RTR straight out of the box.

Now, a brushless kit that I would have to build and that I could constantly modify....that sounds much more appealing to me

I like nitro cars, specialy the sound of them to my head it adds tons of fun factor... also i like to "repair" them, just like my 1:1 car...
And i have newer seen a brushless electric car, so few people have rc cars here.

My elite 4500 give me about 15 minutes of hard runtime in my T4 with a novak velociti 4.5 (brushless) and novak gtb esc! I love my T4! WOO HOO HOO!

brushless all the way. I have several cars and trucks that run from mild (Rusty with a MM5700) to totally silly. (Bolink on road with a MM5700 and a Pede with a HV-MAXX 4400 and 14.4 volts) No mess, no noise, no consistant tuning and the biggest one. Not a single Nitro guy in my area can hang with my Rusty with a 3S Lipo in it. If you've never run brushless you're in for a treat. All the fun, none of the headaches of Nitro.

Both nitro and electrics are cars, the only difference is the power plant. The amount of tinkering that can be done to the vehicles themselves is equal. When it comes to engine and motor modding then yes, engines have more modding potential but there are lots of things you can do with a brushed motor too.

Nitro all the way, it presents more of a challenge then any elect., plus elect. is to darn quiet which is very boring. Nothing like the sound, smell and realism of Nitro. Elect is like uh sweet nothings in the air, boring.

It's personal perferance, some people like nitro some people like electric. I like them both. theres nothing like the smell and sound of a nitro engine, and electric offers performance without pain, but comes short of having the feeling that you're driving a high performance race car.

My 0.02.
