ORIGINAL: CustomPC Hi, Does Jett make a muffler or pipe that would suit the new Enya .61CX which is a 60 in 40 sized case. It's best around the 10 - 12,000rpm range and i'm wondering if a jett-stream or turbo-jett pipe would work with this motor. The bolt spacing is 42mm. Hi, Thanks for writing... The Enya .61CX is similar in concept to Jett's 60L and 76L engines ...... both .40 size engines crammed with displacement. The Jett muffler I might suggest would be the SJ-60L "torque" muffler. This is the jett-stream muffler provided with the regular version of the SJ-60L engine --- it is tuned for lower rpm, more in the 13K to 16K rpm range. Should start boosting just over 12K rpm. On that Enya, unless they note physical limitations (similar to the Jett 76L engine) , I would try to get the engine up over 12K rpm to produced decent power. It all comes down the application and the prop being used. Another option would be to use a Turbo-Jett muffler, depending on if it will fit in your application. Those are great for lower rpm and torque. Beyond that...... if the Enya engine is built for low end power and torque, you may be just as well off sticking with the stock muffler. Bob
