I'm dying to know what is next for hpi off-roading. Hpi could do with somthing bigger, stronger, faster and capable of doing pretty much anything.

Also. if i was to buy a savage now, what would be the better one to get? and why.

I am kinda hoping that HPI will make a 2 speed for the hellfire. time will tell. On your savage question, that depends mostly on what youre into. I would personally get the 4.6 kit truck. I like to build them. But if youre more of a driver get the RTR 4.6 savage. they all pretty much come with the 2 speed (3 speed is available for $79.00). The savage X is more adjustable than the original savage, and I believe that it has a lower center of gravity then the original also. If you want big strong and fast try out the Baja 5b, a little costly, but alotta fun!

Yeah thats the thing mate, i really want a baja 5b. I've only had my mt2 since xmas lol. But over here (uk) its costs an arm and a leg to get a baja 5b, and its pretty expensive to get a savage. But i've had a look at the savages and if i were to get one it would be the savage x ss 4.6. i love building

A 2 speed hellfire would be well cool, i think the hellfire with its clever handling and niffty design needs a bit more speed.

I just hope the prices drop over here, then i would be the proud owner of a savage x ss 4.6 and a baja 5b

What's next for HPI? Competition with traxxas for the 'non-racing' market. They've handed over the racing business to Hot Bodies now and they are concentrating on their RTRs. When the R40 is discontinued in the states, the Hellfire will be the only 'almost' race car in the entire stable. The real question is what's next for hot bodies...should be bringing out a 1/10th nitro tourer soon, to replace the R40, that might be interesting.

PS. A 2 speed hellfire would not be a great idea, in my opinion. First of all it wouldn't give extra speed necessarily, a 2 speed is to aid acceleration, not top speed, and secondly, it's a racing truggy. One of the things that makes it a racing truggy is the fact it has a centre differential. Without a centre diff (can't have 2 speed and diff, one or the other), it's no longer competitive in racing, it joins the realms of the jato as just another fast off road vehicle unsuitable for racing. They might do it though, if people want it...

I have the RTR Savage X 4.1, there is also a Savage X SS which has the 4.6, and the new Savage X 4.6 RTR. The Hellfire SS also has the 4.6 I believe.
