What's next for HPI? Competition with traxxas for the 'non-racing' market. They've handed over the racing business to Hot Bodies now and they are concentrating on their RTRs. When the R40 is discontinued in the states, the Hellfire will be the only 'almost' race car in the entire stable. The real question is what's next for hot bodies...should be bringing out a 1/10th nitro tourer soon, to replace the R40, that might be interesting. PS. A 2 speed hellfire would not be a great idea, in my opinion. First of all it wouldn't give extra speed necessarily, a 2 speed is to aid acceleration, not top speed, and secondly, it's a racing truggy. One of the things that makes it a racing truggy is the fact it has a centre differential. Without a centre diff (can't have 2 speed and diff, one or the other), it's no longer competitive in racing, it joins the realms of the jato as just another fast off road vehicle unsuitable for racing. They might do it though, if people want it...
