his motor is lean big time.........the ninja is very VERY easy to lean it out to much the needles are very tricky on the motor..........even properly tuned it wont idle for long.......line will load up in about 30 or 50 seconds........but it will jsut bog out it wouldnt wind up..........

im thinking about that next kyosho 1/10 truggy.......

Are you stock behind the spur gear, I mean the only gearing changes you have made is to the clutchbell/spur?? What is the height of your tires??

yea sure it wont last much tho it will probably get deleted..........i didnt list it tho ima replace the rear sock tower and im waiting on the shipping........ill post some pics of the rolling chassis for the hell of it

i wanna sell it with the rear shock tower in tack i dont wanna sell it junked out u get me???? im list it as soon as i get the rear shock tower.....im also selling it locally for 100 bucks with the addapters and wheels........thats about 70 dollars alone

Ok here's your theoretical top speed;
Spur/pinion 54/24=2.25
2.25 x 2.6= 5.85
36000 / 5.85= 6153.85 wheel rpm
3.142 x 4 = 12.568 wheel circumference
6153.85 x 12.568 = 77341.59 inch per minute
77341.59 / 63360 = 1.22 miles per minute
1.22 x 60 = 73mph

while were on the subject can you tell me what speed my jato should be with a stock 3.3 ratio of 9.77 1st and 7.29 2nd with spur gear 54t and 22t clutch bell. and also my jato has a picco p2 .26 in it so i dont know if the drive ratios will be different all i know is that i think the picco has 33000 rpm and 2.5hp.

Hi,i will help you work it out but just try doing it yourself first....it's good to learn.
Just insert your figures into the calculations that 2DMaxLST!! and i have done and your there.All you need is your spur/pinion ratio,internal ratio,tyre size and max engine rpm.I think 2DMaxLST!! posted a chart showing the internal ratio for a Jato back on page nine.Try it and see how you get on...it's not that hard....if you get lost just ask.I'll check back to see how you got on.


Spur/pinion x internal ratio = overall ratio

Max Eng. Rpm/overall ratio = wheel rpm

Wheel rpm x wheel circumference (diameter x 3.142) = Distance travelled per minute (in whatever unit you measured wheel diameter in)

Distance travelled per min. x 60 = Distance travelled per hour (again in whatever unit you measured wheel dia.)

Once you have distance travelled per hour it's just a matter of converting your units to miles.

If you used inches to measure wheel diameter then - Distance travelled per hour/63360 (63360" in a mile)

If you measured in mm then - Distance travelled per hour/1 609 344 (1 609 344mm in a mile)

Yep,your going wrong somewhere.Look at my previous post and get your figures sorted for each stage.Post up your figures laying it out as above and i can see where your going wrong.Yes i could do it for you but once you see how to do it it's easy really.
Figures you need:-
Overall ratio
Wheel circumference
Max. engine rpm
