I totally agree with Miami. And its not knocking your truck either. It will definately be a monster but!!!

The picco has tons of torque but as for speed it wont be that much better. It may just get there quicker. The ninja .21 is one of the high revving med block motors which means more rpms, higher top speed. 10'000 rpm,s is a HUGE difference. The Picco is a torque monster for bigger trucks like the t maxx or revo. My Picco 21 ran circles around a picco 26 and both were on t maxx trucks but the other t maxx with the slipper set tight would snap drive shafts. Mine would just twist them. In a 200ft drag I was about 25-30 yards ahead of the picco 26. Yes tuning has alot to do with it but both motors were tuned to the max and leaned out as much as we could just for the drag. Not many big block motors can turn the rpm's that a med or small block can although they are getting better.

i thought the only difference between the picco .21 and .26 was the horsepower plus wouldnt my jato have faster accelaration than his to about 70mph and then his would play catch up and beat my top speed thats what i meant about mine givin him a run for his money and plus at least my second gear has a chance of not exploding seen as i dont think mine will break 75mph.
how fast do you think it will go? my jato has a 22t clutch bell and 54t spur and various weight reduction plus 5 inch tyres.

Well with the bigger tires and added torque from the motor it will easliy break the 65mph mark and get there quick. The Picco 21 p9r turns 36000 rpm's @ 2.7 hp while the picco 26 turns at 32000 rpm's @ 2.4hp. .Even the picco 21 p7 has the same hp as the 26 but with slightly lower rpms. So here yopu have smaller cc engines with the higher hp and higher rpm's than the 26max. Most of the ofna med blocks have more hp and higher rpm's. The hyper .21 has 2.7 hp at 38000 rpm,s. The force 28 turns @ 38000 rpm,s with 2.7hp and the force 32 is a huge 3+hp @ 38, 000 rpm,s. So as you can see the picco .26 max pretty much has the lowest rpm's and the lowest hp of all the bigger ofna motors.

The 3.3 is the biggest small block anywhere. Although traxxas does not post HP numbers they say they are good up to almost 50,000 rpm's. YES 50'000 rpm's. Thats why they have so much power and are compaired to big blocks in power. The 3.3 by no means is a wimpy motor.

and yet ive heard the tz kicks a 3.3s butt...ok, so 50,000 rpms, but how much torque is it putting out? thats what you need to look at.

the ninja 21 is on the fastest reving motors one the market.......its a compation motor made for only track use th epicco 26 MAXX is just a bashing motor......it will wind out completey before the picco 26 even opends up.........

plus ur still gonig to be way under geared that me..........my tires are half the weight of urs alittle over 5 inches tall..........and my gear ratio is 24/38............with a "specail" flywheels and a aluminum MUGEN 3 shoe clutch all get all that power to the ground real quick

about the diffs i just hope they hold up i didnt do anything specail to them..........

i wish........its bein raining none stop since 1 AM last night...........it stopped raining about 2 hours ago so the streets are completely flooded............even the offroad track looks like a lake...........if there isnt total sunshine all day then there track wont dry up in time either and i will be stuck like chuck............tonight is already completly shot.........hopefulyl tomorrow ill at least be able to have fun on the track......

my guess 75mph. even though you can move faster than that, the areo dynamics will prevent you from moving any faster.
