This heat is freaking nuts.............my car has that degree thing in it too.............it was in the 90's all day.......i just looked at the weather channel friday and saturday its suppose to pore this freaking sucks i havent ran a nitro car in about 2 weeks and yesturday i ran my miniz and some how i managed to make the FET's on it catch fire........now i really have noting to run

Status: offline 		losi 8ight weighs more, is single speed, shorter gear ratio, and 4wd (more rotating mass). theres no way you can compare a jato and 8ight

do u know how much more weight the losi 8ight has? plus the weight of carrying those drive shafts? i have a losi 8ight too yes its a light weight buggy but nothing compared to a jato............

plus u gotta rember the MACH 427 motor spits out about 43,000 RPM............the ninja 21 does 43,000 RPM too............this is why u didnt see much of a diffrence.......i was actually thinking about puting the MACH 427 in the jato at a point in time but since i had the extra ninja laying around i threw that in........also im sure ur useing the same cluch bell in ur losi 8ight.....so of course u didnt see a jump in speed.......both motors do the same RPM but i bet ur get way better pit stop and the power band is completely diffrent the only reson i claimed my jato would be faster then the other guys is becuase the picco 26MAXX only does 33,000 rpm (or is it 36,000 rpm.....i cant rember right now)

i didnt report u but u gotta rember that these forums r checked constantly and u didnt come off as mister nice guy so im sure thats why it got deleted......

well guys i didnt get a chance to run the jato and this sunday im leaveing to orlando for a week.......so when i come back this project will DEFINANTLY BE COMPLETED.......ill check in on the thread every few days from my PDA phone

Status: offline 		o yeah, your the one that said to me that the picco will barely have a better top speed than the 3.3
i beg to differ as i took out my picco for the first time a couple of days ago and it is way faster at low end and top end and thats untuned. i does at least 15 mph more than the 3.3 i had.

Status: offline 		alright ill try and video today and radar it. im still playing with exhaust and glow plugs. so im not gonna say how fast mine is. so it will save me any bashing. i have an rb modded 3.3, new era chassis only because i took my .28 wasp out of it. i would like too see better than 75!

Status: offline 		TASTY ive seen a few PICCO 26 MAXX jatos and yet they DO COME OUT OF THE HOLE LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL but if u dont change the gearing ur not gonig any faster than a stock jato..........

buy ur self a savage 3 shoe flywheel, mugen aluminum 3 shoe clutch, hpi threaded bell, the biggest pinion gear u can find, and dont use the jato spur gears run revo ones..........with ur motor and the right gearing u should be topping out at about 80-85 MPH.......also use 30% with the coldest plug u can find and try to buy a top end pipe

what gear ratio where u running??? just wondering, also was that wasp 28 really a pain in a butt to tune i here horrire stories all the time about that motor and tuneing..........


with my ninja 21 im EXPECTING 85-90 MPH..........but breaking 90MPH in a jato isnt very easy im really hyped up about running this thing!!!
