A Bf 109G-6/K-4, or a Hawker Hurricane, or a Zero, or a Yak 3/7/9 would all be great. Or, for a stretch,.. a Ju88. All in ~85" span. (except the Ju88 it should be 110"-120"

I agree with Wolfman A JU-88 would really ring my bell in the size mentioned. 2 g-45's would do it right in the `120 inch size. Boy I can dream can't I John N

I think the De-havilland Mosquito would be great and as mentioned sized to accept the retracts already utilized for the TF DC-3 As for the Pacific theator The Hellcat would be nice

I also think the Zero would be great. No, it's not my favorite warbird but it makes a great model, has good market potential, and would fit right in with the current line. I would also like to see an early Mark Spitfire but only if they did a better job than they did with the .60 size. (scale fidelity wise I mean) I'd like to see good Hurricane in either .60 size or giant scale.

I probably wont build any more TF warbirds after having built several yellow and ziroli kits. However, I would like to see them put out a Me109G or K, Hawker tempest Mk V, Bearcat, and even a zero.
Evan Q.
They could even do a short nose Fw190 since it could use the same gear as the D9.

I'd buy a Top Flite Mosquito"Gold Giant" kit in a Heartbeat!!! They'd sell a bunch of them too! Think I'll place my vote at their site.

I forgot to put in my choices... Something Japanese- I would prefer Ki84 Frank or a Ki-43 Oscar... On the allied side, an F6F would be devine... or I'd be pretty happy if they'd even bring back the B model Mustang (and at an irresistable price of course).

ME-109 or FW-190.

Sure there is some kits out, but TF doesnt even do a ME-109, one of the most important fighter plans in history. German aircraft are seriously underrepresented I think. Top US ace was what, 40 kills? Richard Bong in a P-38? Top German was what, 352 or so? Erich Hartman wasnt it? In a ME-109 for most kills, that my friends,
is history!!!

A million b-25's, b-17's, b-24's, how many JU-88's or HE-111's or DO-17's?

Zero wouldn't be bad either. Incredibly important airplane in the pacific, one that changed how Americans designed fighter aircraft.

Mosquito was a neat plane, but it's historical signifigance is questionable.

This is just me, but the most important WW2 fighter aircraft were:

no order.

Spitfire(image it projected)
Hurricane(actual performance and kills in BoB)
ME-109(ahead of its time)
FW-190(incredible use of firepower and radial engine)
P-47(greatest tank buster of all time, believe it or not)
P-51(range and image, performance)
Wildcat(first real good carrier fighter)
P-38(think most allied kills in pacific)
Zero

I left alot out, but that is what I feel the real ground breaking planes were. As far as kitting, I am sure TF would go with the most popular, and that saddens me, because people tend to go with the most common, glamorous plane they remember, if I see another Mustang kit I think I will hurl.

Done babbling.
