Status: offline 		Hello all, Need some expert knowledge.

I have TP-425 charger and it is only charging my packs to 4v per cell. I hear everyone say 4.2v is full charge. Should my charger be going the extra .2v or is this just where the TP charger cuts off???
Should I send it in/back or is this extra .2v insignificant???

Status: offline 		not sure what you need to do to change it, but I would say it is pretty significant. That could be something like 20 to 30% short of a full charge. If you just got the charger I would call up TP or the vendor and either send it back or figure out what you need to do =) It doesn't look like there is anything to adjust on that one though.

this is right out of tha manual
<Specifications>
Input Power source: 11V-15VDC, requires 4A to charge at maximium rate.
Charge Voltage:3.7V-7.4V-11.1V-14.8V( 1cell-4cells in series )
Charge Current:300mA-500mA-800mA-1300mA-2000mA-2500mA
Full charge voltage: 4.2V per cell
Size:1.62” x 4” x 0.62”(42mm x 102mm x 16.2mm)

I guess there is also a very small chance that your meter is out of adjustment and maybe it's reading low or something, but that isn't likely at all.

Status: offline 		I have another nicer meter I will check it against. Hopefully its not messed up. It always did this with my eflite batts but I just figured they were crappy batts.
