I am looking for Kits are plans for electric ducted fan model of Grumman F9F Panthers. I have an 90 size fan unit now. I worked on Panthers and Cougars for three years in 1952-1955. Been a modeler since 1940. BOB MOORE

Airworld.com has the Cougar and Aeronaut has the Panther. See http://www.warbirds-rc.com/Store/an-pan.html Both are great fliers!

Hi,Bob,I recently picked up a Ziroli Panther, on an Ebay auction  Partially built, only basic framing, currently instaling the the intake ducting and landing gear let me know if you would like pictures,, it appears to be a straight forward kit and should build easy

Hi guys. Ray here,.... As I mentioned earlier, I have the Ziroli  kit and have been working on the fuselageat the tail ,... the fuselage had been totaly framed and partly covered, I feel that I am starting to read a book from the middle and going forward, and turning a page and find yourself on a page 4 pages earlier than where you started......I had to enlarge the holes  to fit the twin air bottles, from the inside, they now fit snugly and can  be removed if nessary,.... further along I had to cut a slot in the L/G bearers so that the Robart L/G would fully retract ........ the steering arms would strike the bearers and prevent full retraction the drawing specifies a  SpringAir Unit.....   One has to remenber that this airplane designed  in the early 1990's almost a quarter century back   ...............will post photos at a later date......out

Hi Ray,
I used Hitec HS 5625MG on Rudder and Hitec HS 7955TG on Elevator. Hope this helps.
