No not as far as I know. Talked to Bill the other day. He's the admin at www.imdra.com so pm him there. Last I heard he was working on an electric rail.

Is Litespeed Engineering gone out of business ?

Let me add to the confusion if I may. Griz is correct, Bill "Mr. Speed" is still around. Here's a link: http://www.litespeedengineering.com/

Now for the confusing part. There's LITESPEED Engineering, above, in San Antonio, TX. Website still active. Then there's LIGHTSPEED Products in Hewitt, Texas, just a short piece up the road. That website is a present inactive. Checking the LIGHTSPEED trouble desk on another forum, it appears LIGHTSPEED Products may not be doing business anymore.

LITESPEED deals primarily with nitro cars. But Griz is right in that Mr. Speed is dabbling in electric with a BL extreme chassis. We're sure he's still doing business, but haven't seen him at the track lately. We don't travel to SA every weekend, so may just be missing him.

LIGHTSPEED was exclusively electric. We bought a mod 8x1 cobalt motor from Ron, and some loose round cells to make a 8x4200 battery pack. In fact, we are using the 8x1 arm in one of our RAE NEO cans. Anyway, like we said, looks like LIGHTSPEED is at present not offering a product. Anyone with current expereince in dealing with Ron, please advise so we don't put out bad info here.

So, in summary, LITESPEED is around; LIGHTSPEED is not.
