First mistake was, you bought a Traxxas.

Second mistake was, you bought hop up parts for it.

That money would have been better spent on a Mugen.

not into racing...I only go to the track on pratice nights.......and the availability of parts and upgrades for mugen is not even a fraction of what it is for the Tmaxx

my truck is not an Aluminum Tmaxx......I have upgraded broken bulks with Aluminum....I broke 2 skid plates I upgraded with Aluminum and bought the 3rd to match.....I broke the front bumper so I bought aluminum bumpers.
Why can't people see that people do what they want with their trucks or cars......and spend their own money on what they want....I don't care what anybody else would have or what I should have done to the truck.....

Believe me, with 4 nitro MT's, 2 electric buggies, 1 nitro street car, 2 nitro boats, 1 electric boat, 2 electric planes and 2 electric helis I've got way more than $1800 in RC's. If some would rather spend $1500, $1800, $2500, $3000 or whatever hopping up a truck, have at it. It's just not my choice, I'd rather have a bunch of different things to play with rather than one really blinged out toy, that's all.

Boy, you are one well rounded RC person. I think also it is more fun to have variety since you can fly the plane/heli when weather permits and when weather is not so favorable for that, then you can have fun bashing/racing/jumping the others. If I were to hop-up my T-Maxx I would use cheaper RPM parts as they are cheaper and actually more durable than alloys. I still think it is cool that you have all that stuff in your truck, no kidding, that is cool but I think you would be better off saving the alloy parts money and using that towards another vehicle... Still cool, any pics i hope???
