Status: offline 		Anyone know delivery date on the new 9 chl 2.4 GHZ with the 921 RX ? I have one on order with local hobby shop. He told me end of July, according to Horizon. Is this just a target date or is it going to happen ?

Status: offline 		Well I've got one on backorder as well and if the other JR 2.4 stuff I've got on backorder is any indication, we'd best not hold our collective breath on the late July date...

I ordered a Spektrum tx case as JR doesn't yet have one for the short fixed length 2.4 antenna. First it said early June, then mid-June, then late June, then early July, then mid-July, now it says late July.

Same story on the two extra 921 rx's I ordered, late June now early August.

Two end-pin type A6100 rx's now at late July.

Four 12" satellite rx extension wires, late July.

You get the idea? EVERYTHING has been getting moved back from the original anticipated delivery dates.

There has been a rumor floating around that Horizon will start shipping Monday the 16th, but I've also heard from a usually reliable source, that the new X9303's won't even be in the country until August 10th or somewhere in that area.

I've also heard from my LHS that there will be a few out before the rest on what he called an "early delivery" plan that is limited stock and apparently offered to the LHS types who ordered them when the new radio was first announced.

Who ever knows for sure isn't talking...

None in the July issue.

Status: offline 		I've got one on order from Esprit models. I had to call them yesterday about something else and happened to ask about the delivery date. He told me the same story about the date being pushed back 2 weeks at a time several times. He's getting a little upset at Horizon about it and forwarding all questions/complaints about the date to them as he has no control over it.

When you say very soon, do you mean the date of July28th should be accurate? I'm just getting anxious, I have sold my current transmitter and it is being picked up tonight so I can't fly anything until the 9303 gets here. I'm looking forward to it.

About 2/3's of the new products Horizon debuted at Toledo are arriving this at the end of this month or next. I placed an order for my 9303 right after Toledo at my lhs. Mine should be in my hands very soon.

Status: offline 		See my post above, #4 about them not even being in the Country until August.

I ordered some other stuff over the weekend inlcuding two of those nifty neckstrap adapters Danny provided a link to for solving the DX-7 and X9303 balance problem with the short antennas.

The website showed the adapters as coming in August, but Horizon charged my CC for the total amount which is unusual since they normally don't charge until stuff ships. I called CS yesterday to inquire about the discrepancy and was told the items were in stock and that the website was having some problems. So I inquired about the status of my X9303 which as noted above, had gone from a late July date to "out of stock can be backordered". The lady at CS told me there had been no changes to the anticipated delivery date since it was first announced and that date of late July was still good. But as newshoundaussie noted, this AM they're showing the early August date on the website now.

Who knows?

My extra R921's keep getting moved back, my satellite rx extensions keep moving back, my tx case is showing "out of stock" now for a week, my end pin 6100 rx's are showing "out of stock" now instead of late July.

Like I said, don't hold your breath. If this stuff is still on the boat there's no way anyone at Horizon is going to be able to get an exact or even really close delivery date as there are too many variables involved in getting them off the boat, through Customs and shipped to Horizon...

Status: offline 		Yeah, I had noticed the status change from late July to out of stock. I hope it doesn't get puched back any more. Understand it's hard to predict shipping times from overseas, but we're now looking at well over month later than the original date. I sold my DX6 and Multiplex 3030 so that I could get one radio for foamie and big plane flying so now I have nothing. Haven't flown in weeks... sucks!

Mine came Saturday, I got two, and it works great on my DX-7 which I tried out Sunday. Now I'd like to try it on my new X9303, which the website as of this morning now says is "coming soon"...
