if it has 5 pins (I can't tell because the arrow is covering it, it might be a voltage detector

Did you guys ever get your chargers fixed? I also blew out a FET, but mine was on the bottom of the circuit board. I have tried to identify the manufacturer of the chip, but have not been able to do so.

I've included a better picture of the chip that was burned out for the 2 first guys, incase that will help anyone identify it. I am also throwing in a picture of the FET location where I lost mine, hoping that someone can post the numbers written on it, as mine were burned somewhat and not totally legable.

The part number of the fet I'm trying to find starts with D408. If someone would be so kind as to tell me the rest of that part number. Also, if anyone has figured out the manufacturer, that would be a great help.

BTW - I removed my fet and replaced it with a random one from a video card. That is why it doesn't look burned out, but, it doesn't work properly.

Hi, the D405 is probably a datecode for traceability. The BE6N11 is the part number but google only gives an 8 pin DIP motor controller and its not that. The BA6427 and the BE6N11 look like bipolar transistors but would need to put a meter across them to decide if npn or pnp. The 2 main switching fets are the TO220 IRFZ44, so worth checking these first. If I get any further with the unit I've got I'll let you know.

Hi there!
I've burned the same component.
It happend when I got a shortcut while charging a Pb battery.
The part was so burned, I could not even tell how many pins it has, but on the pc-board are six pads plus one big one for the ground!
Has anyone got this fet BE6N11 (or what ever it is) or a replacement for it?
Or do I have to throw my 601bc away?
Thank you for any reply!

I contacted the suppliers in china and they would not help me regarding buying replacement components so time to throw it away. There is now an improved version available new on ebay.
