Robert:
I got the switch for the super regulator but I have some questions about the way it works.
I have two batteries connected to the regulator, do I need only one switch to power off the reg?
Can I NOT use the two charging jacks that come with it? only the switch to turn on and off?
The regulator only has one connector for the switch, right?

Thanks Robert,

John

Hi John,
You only need one failsafe switch for both batteries. I don't understand why you cannot use the two charge leads. They plug into the SuperReg where it says charge next to each Deans connector. Please let me know if you need more explanation.

The reason for me not using the charge leads is because the batteries I use (duralites) cannot be charged thru the same lead that plug to the reg. However, I was taking a closer look at the system and I think I could use the charge jacks with the charging leads in a separate way so I can check them and charge them without going thru the regulator.
I`ll try it out and see what happens.
John

Hi John,
OK, I did not know you had Durlites. You should be able to use the charge jacks but not the charge leads. I am not sure if you can check your battery voltage through the Duralite charge leads? If not you might want to still use the charge leads off the regulator so you can check voltage and then just charge with your canopy off.
