I know everyone thinks I'm a cheap skate, and I probably am, as the rich guys go for some sort of full conversion using Sportwerks axles or some such like, I did the budget version, Hot Bodies Lightning GT 17 mm hexes which go straight on the stock axle and HPI 17mm collared wheels nuts. I don't think you can use the Savage hexes as they have a different size but the Lightning GT ones are exactly the same size pin as the LSP's.
My son & I race our LSP's, occasionally they get crashed heavily, and so far had no problems at all.

hey rammol, what kit did you order to get the 23mm kit for your lsp?i own one and i would like to get 17mm ,20mm and 13mm so i can run whatever wheel i like but i cant find anny conversions but i know something fits.what kit did you order?and i think i have seen 17mm hex somewhere?i have the 17mm hex's from the savage kit and they fit but the axle is still small so it doesnt fit the wheel hole?kind of sham if you ask me.id like to get the nice 17mm kits with the large annodized locknut.and also i would like to get some kits that clamp on.but i really need to know where rammol got the 23mm kit and how he made it work so come on bro hit me back with some info.

jonnymobil, If you have the 17mm hexes from a Savage you should also have the collared wheel nuts which allow the fitment of 17mm wheels, these are a 14mm flanged nut with a collar machined on the inside to allow fitment of 17mm wheels. Not the best solution but they work and at least it will allow you to fit 17mm wheels until you get your conversion done.

here's a pic of my new beater. no picks of lid off, but its running a hacker c50l brushless motor, and mgm16018 compro esc. i'm have some binding problems with my radio gear but if i get that going, i'll control it with futuba 2.4 fasst/3pks setup. if not, i'll just through a am radio on there and deal with that crap i guess. servo is a jr ds8411. i bought the roller w a rc-moster motor mount included. it already had the 17mm
